Warm temps and a continued chance of storms
Temperatures today in the Valley are still going to be a bit warm, as some slightly drier air has moved in from the west, with highs ranging from 104-109. The best chance of storms today will continue to be in the higher elevations north and east of the Valley, primarily along the Mogollon Rim. There’s a 20% chance that some of these storms could make it to the Valley floor.

Woman suspected of defrauding stores, credit union
A Laveen woman was was arrested July 3 after, Tempe police said, she attempted to defraud Desert Schools Federal Credit Union, Mor Furniture, Fry's Foods and Target by claiming that another woman used her identity to steal money and make purchases.
